The Blendy Box – go on, do it!

I hummed and haaa-ed about whether to do the Blendy box again, but Belinda is such a fantastic organiser, and I have yarn to spare, so there we are.

Whole buttons of Artisan Lace special editions, and mini 10 gram skeins of the brand new Knitsch colours are in there. Yay! I’m sure there will be loads of other yarny goodness going on in there too.

Auckland is ace – mostly

Apart from the fact being in Auckland reminded me how much I don’t want to live there, it is a city filled with really super awesome people, all of which I think should move to the city of total aceness (that’s Wellington).

I caught up with: Michele from Mishi Yarns, Genny (or, as it turns out, Madonna) of Crafternoon Tea, Nikki (the reason for the trip, and my amazing host), Polly of Little Country Wools, and possibly the most fantastic person to have a glass or ten of wine with EVER, and Belinda, from Blendy. whew! Somewhere in there I also did some work, lots of big issues chatting, and craploads of knitting.

It’s a real bummer that I didn’t get out to The Little Craft Store, or to meet up with Jody and a few other people I was quite keen to see – but that’s an excuse for another trip.

The return home sees new inspiration and impetus to leap into some really scary but exciting plans for next year, and get back to dyeing with great gusto. Today a disaster turned into a dream – so keep an eye on the online shop with some new colourways just in time for Christmas holiday project knitting!

Auckland bound

Well, i’m about to leave for a few days in the north, to catch up with some lovely people and hopefully do quite a bit of knitting.

Have a wonderful weekend and i’ll be back tuesday!

FYI – any orders received between now and Tuesday will be posted wednesday, and i’ll still be on emails (hooray for the iPhone!)

xx

Woops!

So, there have been a few email issues – the spam filter with our hosting service went a bit over the top and didn’t let lots of emails through.

I do apologise whole-heartedly if you have tried to get in touch or place an order and been rejected. Do try again!
